More About Us
Hi, my name is George Fetko and I am the owner of Hometown Drug. We are dedicated to providing top notch customer service to anyone and everyone who walks in the door here. Every customer is treated with respect and professionalism all day, every day.
So what makes Hometown Drug different from the thousands of other pharmacies across the United States? To begin with, Hometown Drug is an independent pharmacy. This simply means it is owned
by an individual rather than a corporation. Unlike a corporation, I am free to run my everyday
operations according to my principles and beliefs.
So what are my principles and beliefs?
The answer is as simple as 1-2-3. One, I believe every customer is entitled to the best
medication possibly available without losing their shirt. If this means switching an overpriced
prescription to an affordable therapeutic equivalent, I will do my very best to accomplish
this vital mission. Secondly, the staff believes in customer service. If that means delivering
your prescription to your home or calling your insurance company, we will do whatever it takes. Lastly, it is my
aspiration to create an environment that is a safe haven for all your prescription needs. If you
do not have health insurance, you are not alone…one out of five Americans are uninsured.
According to Consumer Reports, independent pharmacies are the
most cost conscious pharmacies year after year.
In closing, being an independent pharmacist has been my true calling in life. I believe whole
heartedly in the mind-set of independent pharmacies. It is not about insurance companies or
drug companies. The patient is, and will always be, my number one priority. I believe everyone
should expect a great deal from their pharmacist, as do I from myself. I wish you many years
of good health and affordable health care.
